Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest swiftly added eToro (ETOR) to its portfolio, purchasing 140,000 shares worth $9.4 million during the trading platform’s Nasdaq debut. The stock surged 29% on its first day, closing at $67 after opening well above its marketed range at $52—a testament to overwhelming investor demand.
The shares were allocated to ARK’s Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF), which holds crypto-adjacent equities like Coinbase and Robinhood. ARKF is one of three ARK ETFs with significant exposure to digital asset innovators, alongside the Next Generation Internet (ARKW) and Innovation (ARKK) funds.
